Newbie here- looking for some reviews on The Good and the Beautiful
We use the Good and the Beautiful for math, language arts, and handwriting. We are not really religious, but the way it is taught really works for my daughter, so we just cut out the religious parts and go from there.
Seed with variety of biomes close to spawn, and good/beautiful spawn
Hi all, looking to start a survival world with a good spawn (e.g., spectacular view, side of mountain, edge of lake, etc: just something that sets it apart and makes it easy to navigate), and lots of biomes close to spawn (doesn’t have to be every biome by any means, but at least a range of hot/cold, most or all woods).

Not familiar with TGATB curriculum. Is it Charlotte Mason style? If so, Blossom and Root has a good CM program and you can buy the Language Arts separate or combine it with Science.

It's really beautiful, rigorous, and well-designed. As far as academics, ease of use, and aesthetics go, I really don't think there's anything better. I would thoroughly recommend it. Make sure that you have your son take the placement tests, because the levels don't necessarily align with grade levels.
